Robert Grell

Grell had the honour of playing in the very first Hoerman Cup Championship which in those days was played between T&T and Jamaica only. Fifty years later, he was still representing T&T in the Francis Steel Perkins Cup. He played for 30 years straight in the Hoerman Cup and has won the T&T Open a record five times. His name is indelibly written in the record books, not only in Trinidad, but throughout the Caribbean.
